We make choices for good
Better choices start with what we supply. We try to provide sustainable product options to the dental profession across Australia and New Zealand. We support responsible brands like TrioClear™, that have a clear commitment to supporting the environment. Through their partnership with One Tree Planted, a non-profit organisation which focuses on global reforestation, they plant ten trees for every finished TrioClear™ case. The impact is significant – 11,480 trees were planted last year as part of our TrioClear™ aligner product.
Packaging generates an enormous amount of waste, so we’re making smart choices that have a better impact on our environment. We’re working with the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation to reducing the harmful impact of packaging on the environment, cutting down on waste and shifting towards all packaging being recyclable, reusable or compostable. Our smart packaging choices include compostable courier bags, reusable case boxes made from recycled cardboard. With mixed recycling at all our sites, we captured and recycled 8 tonnes of cardboard, paper, cans, bottles and similar materials in 2021, including 1,600 kg of soft plastic courier bags just last year.
