Send scans via Dropbox

We accept scans from other scanners via Dropbox*. The general process includes the following steps:

1. Register for a DropBox* account for your surgery if you do not have one
2. Login to your DropBox account
3. Create a folder in DropBox for the case what you would like to send to SCD. Please use the barcode number and patient ID on the lab sheet as the file name, this is important to make sure the correct lab sheet goes with the correct .stl file.
4. Fill in an SCD lab sheet and make sure it is in PDF format.  You can either generate a PDF labsheet via Online Order option in MySCD or scan a the completed hardcopy of the labsheet.
5. Upload STL digital scans and the PDF labsheet to the DropBox folder created in step 3
6. After uploading finishes, share the whole DropBox folder with nzdigital@scdlab.com

* Although we nominate DropBox for file sharing, you may choose to use other file transfer or cloud storage platforms (Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, etc.) that you find suitable.

Send scans via WeTransfer

We accept scans from other scanners via WeTransfer. Instructions are below:

1. Save .stl files/lab sheet/photos/x-rays etc. as a Zipped folder (Compressed)
2. Go to WeTransfer.
3. Select ‘+’ to add the zipped folders.
4. Email to akl@scdlab.com
5. Add your email.
6. Message – Provide the patient’s name and any notes we need to pass onto the technician.
7. Verify your email – a verification code will be emailed to the address you entered in ‘Your Email‘.
8. Once verified, the file transferring will commence and be sent to us.
