We are excited about the popularity of our new four day Invisalign accreditation course which teaches dentists how to use Invisalign for orthodontic movements and to integrate a realignment phase into aesthetic dentistry treatments. Utilising the brilliant Invisalign system, dentists are now working with SCDL’'s team of clinical experts to provide aesthetic outcomes for many patients that they could not treat previously. Courses are available in group settings or as more intimate and personalised in-surgery offerings in Australia and New Zealand and includes a course for dental auxiliaries.
Our new generation “FMZir” fully milled, monolithic zirconia crowns were released in June 2010 and have been incredibly popular already as an indestructible and more aesthetic alternative to full metal crowns in the posterior segment.
SCDL are about to launch a digital work flow solution in the first quarter of 2011 which offers dentists with intra-oral scanners the option to send scans for model making and crown production. The accuracy and fit of these restorations is unsurpassed and the obvious advantages of circumventing a traditional impression cannot be overstated.
